Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a telephonic conversation with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and congratulated him on completing 50 years of Sri Lankan parliamentary innings. The two leaders discussed the prevention measures of the corona epidemic as well as its impact on the health and economic sector. Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again assured Rajapaksa that India is ready to give all possible help to Sri Lanka in this challenging time. Also recalled the role of Thondaman in furthering the development partnership between India and Sri Lanka.
