New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will address doctors of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Thursday July 1. According to media reports, PM Modi will address an event of IMA as the keynote speaker tomorrow on Thursday. In fact, many important steps have been taken by the IMA to root out the corona epidemic. In the second wave, nearly 800 doctors from all over the country have died so far. The highest number of doctors have died of corona in Delhi. According to a report, 128 doctors in Delhi have died of the virus while treating patients so far. Bihar has reported 115 doctors at number two after Delhi. In Uttar Pradesh, 79 doctors have lost their lives during the second wave. In sub-state like Maharashtra and Kerala, 23 and 24 doctors died respectively. According to the IMA report, the lowest death has been in Pondicherry. Only one doctor has died here. In radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi also praised doctors for helping sick people by continuing their service to all during the epidemic, while saying that like every year to honour the contribution of doctors National Doctor's Day will be celebrated on July 1.
