PM Modi wishes Vijayadashmi to the countrymen, shared video on Twitter

New Delhi: Today is Air Force Day and today the festival of Vijayadashami or Dussehra is also being celebrated all over the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted from his official Twitter handle, greeting the countrymen for both these occasions. Today, on the occasion of Dussehra, PM Modi has congratulated the people of the country by tweeting in both Hindi and English languages.

PM Modi wrote in his tweet that Greetings on the auspicious occasion of #VijayaDashami.' Like every year, this year also PM Narendra Modi will join Ramlila. However, PM Modi will attend the Dussehra celebrations being held in Dwarka, Delhi this time. This will be the first time that PM Modi and President Kovind will celebrate the festival of Dussehra in Dwarka. Greeting Vijayadashami, PM Modi has also posted a video showing scenes of him attending different Ramleela and Dussehra programs.

Let us tell you that today the festival of Dussehra is being celebrated all over the country. In the morning where Dussehra will be worshipped in the houses, in the evening there will be a ceremony of burning Ravana with the conclusion of different Ramlila. Ravana Dahan is seen as a symbol of the victory of good over evil in the Indian tradition and Ravana Dahan is performed in different parts of the country every year on Vijayadashami.
