Shahjahanpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Ganga expressway project at Shahjahanpur, Roja railway ground on December 18. This foundation stone laying ceremony is going to be a mega event in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the Ganga Expressway is an ambitious project. Under the information received, various public related facilities including petrol pumps, restaurants, trauma centres will be provided on the expressway. At the same time, industrial clusters will be developed in different districts. An airstrip will be constructed at Shahjahanpur. Proper arrangements for parking, drinking water, toilets and public address systems will be ensured at the foundation stone laying ceremony to be held on December 18 and special attention will be paid to the cleanliness of the venue including Shahjahanpur. The expressway (Ganga expressway route) is said to be available from Meerut Bulandshahr Marg (Nh-334) (near Bijoli village) near Judapur Dandu village of Prayagraj on Prayagraj bypass of NATIONAL HIGHWAY No.19 (Old National Highway No.2).
