Poco C61 India Launch Today: Expected Price, Specs, and Everything We Know So Far

Poco has confirmed the launch of its latest budget smartphone, the Poco C61, in India today. The Chinese smartphone maker has disclosed several key details about the upcoming device, including its memory, display, and battery capacity.

According to a teaser shared by Poco, the C61 will sport a 'radiant ring design' on the back, along with support for up to 6GB of RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Additionally, the C61 is expected to feature a 90Hz refresh rate and house a 5,000mAh battery.

Expected Specifications of Poco C61:

The Poco C61 is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A3, which was launched in India last month. The Redmi A3 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels and support for a 90Hz refresh rate. This budget smartphone features a waterdrop-style notch housing the front-facing camera, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layered on top.

Under the hood, the Redmi A3 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable up to 1TB via the dedicated microSD card slot). It runs on the company's proprietary MIUI 14 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system.

The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging via a 10W charger provided in the box. For connectivity, the Redmi A3 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, dual 4G SIM card slots, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS.

The Redmi A3 is priced at Rs. 7,299 for the 3GB RAM/64GB storage variant, Rs. 8,299 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, and Rs. 9,299 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
