Sandeep Goud, a constable working with the Hyderabad Police was on lockdown duties in Malakpet area since the outbreak of coronavirus. But little did he expect that he himself would be affected by the virus one day. “I was tested positive for the Covid-19 on June 24. Though for a moment it was shocking for me, eventually I convinced myself that I certainly will get through this stressful time. I home quarantined myself immediately. It was just for a few days that I had body aches, fever and cough,” Sandeep says. Hyderabad's tribal museum gets transformed During the home quarantine, Sandeep made sure that he was surrounded by positivity rather than news filled with deaths and ailments. His intention was clear to not allow anything, from messages about the virus shared on the social media to scary speculations that could end up causing a sense of panic. “I just stayed positive and confident that this is going to be over soon,” says the constable.
