Punjab Police has extended the last date of application for vacancy drawn in the posts of Intelligence Assistant and Constable. Now eligible and interested candidates can apply online for this recruitment till 11.55 pm on 19th August. Earlier, the last date for applying for this recruitment was fixed as August 16. Candidates will be selected for 1,191 posts under this recruitment.

Pay Scale:- On the recommendations of Intelligence and Investigation Cadre-2021, the candidates selected under this recruitment will get a salary on the basis of the 7th Pay Commission. The minimum wage has been fixed at Rs 19,900.
Age Limit:- The age of candidates applying for this vacancy drawn by Punjab Police should be from 21 to 28 years.
Educational Qualification:- For the post of Intelligence Assistant: Candidates should have an 'O' level certificate in NIELIT (earlier called DOEACC) from any recognized university or institution or B.Sc/B.Tech/BE degree in CS, IT, BCA, PGDCA, or computer application. For the post of Constable: Candidates must have a graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized university.
