Police to be 'friendly' for tourists now, Know what's the reason?

Patna: Tourist police will be deployed at tourist places to provide security in Bihar and help tourists. The police headquarters has started an exercise for it. A senior police official said that tourist police will be deployed at Bodh Gaya in Gaya district and Rajgir in Nalanda district earlier. Thereafter, they will be deployed in other tourist places. He said the target of the deployment of tourist police is to provide security at tourist places and friendly treatment to the police with tourists.

After being friendly to the police, tourists will be able to feel free to share their problems with them. Officials say that it is not that the tourist police will be recruited separately, but some policemen from the respective police stations will be selected for the same. He said that the selected policemen will be trained and prepared in this regard.

The government says that Bodh Gaya and Rajgir have a higher number of foreign tourists besides the tourists of the country, so they face a lot of difficulties. Other policemen are also less aware of their difficulties. The tourist police will also be aware of hotels, local tourist places, and proper routes and proper means to go so that they can extend full support to the people. An officer at the police headquarters says that in the first phase, a strategy has been chalked out to implement only two tourist places, followed by other tourist places.
