Tamil actor Vivek has suffered a heart attack on Friday. According to the reports, the actor suffered a 100% blood clot in his left artery. The reason for clot is estimated as the vaccination jab. The vice-president SIMS hospitals, Dr Raju Sivasamy said what the 59-year-old actor suffered was a separate cardiac event called “ventricular fibrillation.”
In the reports, the doctor said resulting in decreased supply of blood to the brain the actor suffered blood clot. Dr Sivasamy further read “This is actor Vivek’s first attack. It is a severe one. We have done an angiogram, followed by angioplasty, and have placed a stent. He is presently critical, in the ECMO and it may take at least 24 hours for him to improve.” The hospital staff said that Vivek’s family got him to the hospital on Friday morning. The actor was in an unconscious state at 11 am and soon was attended by the emergency and cardiology doctors. Medical Services Director Dr Vijaykumar, said that Vivek suffered an acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock, terming it a separate event that may not be due to Covid vaccination.
Earlier this week on Thursday, actor Vivek after taking his vaccine said his fans that both the vaccines are safe and people should not be afraid to take it. Whereas, Dr. Radhakrishnan also urged people to cast away their fears and come forward to take the vaccine.
