Prakasam Police organizes traffic guidelines awareness programs

Ongole: Prakasam Police conducted road safety and traffic guidelines awareness programmes. Under the 'Accident Free Day-Saturday' campaign, the police of every police station of the district on Saturday camped at black spots, accident areas, traffic junctions and other places in their respective limits. He stopped drivers of triple riding, cars and other vehicles for not wearing helmets and masks and told them about the importance of following traffic rules and road safety guidelines.

He announced that he will take action against those drivers who are violating road safety rules and guidelines and will register a case against them. He asked the owners of cows and buffaloes to paint their horns with radium or reflector stickers and that no animals should come on the roads. He also asked the pedestrians to know the road safety rules and follow them to avoid accidents by not jumping on the roads suddenly.

Kandukur DSP Kande Srinivasa Rao, Rural SI Ankamma, Traffic SI Haribabu and employees organized an awareness rally in the city as Markapuram DSP Kishore Kumar, SI Mirasaheb and others organized an awareness program for drivers at Markapuram. Ongole Rural CI R Rambabu, SI Y Nagaraju created awareness among people violating traffic rules on National Highway. He presented roses to the rule breakers and requested them to remember that their families are waiting for them at home.
