Prannoy and Kashyap to face each other in all Indian final of the US Open

In the all Indian men's singles final at the US Open Grand Prix scheduled to be played today in Anaheim, California the Indian shuttlers Parupalli Kashyap and HS Prannoy will face each other.

Prannoy defeated Tien Minh Nguyen of Vietnam by 21-14, 21-19 in the first semi-final to sail into the final. Kashyap defeated Korea's Kwang Hee Heo by 15-21, 21-15, 21-16.

Both Kashyap and Prannoy have won a match each in their two previous meetings but they haven't faced each other on the international circuit since the second round of the German Open in 2014.
