Prashant Kishore reaches Kolkata amid lockdown, Mamta Banerjee in controversies

Kolkata: West Bengal's Mamta Banerjee government is facing allegations of manipulating facts related to Corona and not following the rules of lockdown. Mamata Banerjee is now accused of bringing election strategist Prashant Kishore to Kolkata via stealth cargo plane.

According to media reports, Prashant Kishore arrived in Kolkata by cargo plane amid lockdown. Opposition parties have attacked the Mamata government along with Prashant Kishore over this. According to an India Today report, Prashant Kishore arrived in Kolkata on a cargo flight at the same time as the Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) from the Modi government arrived to inspect the state of lockdown. It is being told that Prashant Kishore left Delhi for West Bengal after receiving the message of Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamool Congress MP and nephew of Mamata Banerjee.

Abhishek, who reached Kolkata in the middle of the night, was welcomed in his office and then spoke about the questions being asked by the central government. According to the information, Mamta Banerjee has entrusted Prashant Kishor with the responsibility of retaliating on the allegations of social media, opposition party and media channels.
