New Delhi: Today, President Ram Nath Kovind will start the annual 'Udyanotsav' of Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Mughal Garden in Delhi is going to open from the coming Saturday. Visitors will be approved for entry only by prior booking. The press release by the President's Secretariat stated, "The Mughal Garden will be open to the general public from February 13, 2021, to March 21, 2021 (except Mondays which will be a maintenance day) from 10 am to 5 pm. In addition to the Mughal Gardens, visitors will also be approved at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum. Visitors will also be able to witness the 'Change of Guard' program. As a precaution this year, buying tickets from Rashtrapati Bhavan will not provide the facility to enter the garden. Visitors will be allowed to enjoy the garden only through advance online booking. Between 10 am and 5 pm, there will be seven advance booking slots of one hour each. The last entry of visitors will be given at 4 pm. Each slot can accommodate up to 100 people at most. Due to entry, visitors must follow corona protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and more. They must undergo thermal screening at the entry point. Persons sensitive to the coronavirus have been told to avoid coming. Entry and exit for all visitors will be from Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is close to the road connecting North Avenue to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
