In the message he issued, he said, 'On the occasion of the new year, I extend my heartiest greetings and congratulations to all the people of India and abroad. Every new year gives us the opportunity to start a new beginning, individually and collectively. This year, due to the corona epidemic, people have to face many challenges as well. The country and the world are preparing to welcome the new year on one hand, while the coronavirus epidemic is also expected to be liberated in the new year.' Earlier on Wednesday, President of India Ramnath Kovind gave a message. In that message, he said, 'This year is about to end, we hope that this epidemic will also end soon. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the coronavirus has changed the world in terms of social relations, economic activities, health care, education and many other aspects of life.' Now today, on Friday, he has made a tweet and through this tweet has greeted the people of the country for the new year. He wrote in his tweet- 'Hearty greetings and best wishes of the new year. The new year is an opportunity to make a fresh start and emphasizes our resolve for individual and collective development. This time of challenges arising from covid-19, it is time for all of us to move forward together.' Apart from this, he wrote in another tweet- 'Let us all work together towards creating an inclusive society with the spirit of love and compassion where peace and harmony are promoted. I wish that all of you remain healthy and safe and move forward to achieve the common goal of the progress of our country with new energy.'
