He tweeted, 'Silent! today, I lost a partner who took the first step of public life with me in the Youth Congress and walked together till today. Rajiv Satava's simplicity, frank smile, ground attachment, eyesight and loyalty to the party and friendship will always be remembered. Goodbye my friend ! Where you stay, keep shining!' Om Shanti'. Rajiv Satava's condition remained very critical. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope had informed this last Saturday. "Satava was recovering slowly, but his health deteriorated again and now his condition remains critical," he had told reporters in Jalna in a statement. 'Doctors have learnt that he has become infected with cytomegalovirus. Experts are being consulted in the matter'. He was found infected with corona virus on April 22. He was then admitted to Jahangir Hospital in Pune where he was on ventilator.
