Inmates do this to beat the corona virus

Looking at the coronavirus epidemic in many parts of the country, everyone is looking for a means of rescue. Masks and sanitizers are disappearing from the market with the increase of the outbreak. In view of this, the prison administration has taken a unique initiative to supply masks and sanitizers. Thousands of prisoners in Aligarh District Prison are preparing masks in the jail itself. People coming to meet the prisoners in the jail for rescue from Corona are also being asked to clean their hands by giving sanitizer before admission and ready masks are being made available in the jail.

According to the media report, Jail Superintendent Alok Kumar while showing the masks to be prepared in the jail said that two types of masks are being prepared here. One-time use masks are provided to the people reaching for mixing. At the same time, other types of masks are being made for the prisoners in jail. He told that at present, masks are being supplied for inside the jail. In view of the black marketing of masks in the markets, other places will also be supplied if needed.

Let us tell you that the work of making masks in prisons was started on 15 March. In which 400 masks were prepared on the first day and 900 masks were made the next day on 16 March. Till date, a total of 1300 masks have been prepared. Of these masks made, 300 were given to the staff, 250 were given to prisoners, 300 were sent to Muzaffarnagar jail, 100 were sent to Noida jail and 350 were given to those who came to meet the prisoners.
