Private Helicopter Carrying Shiv Sena Leader Crashes During Landing in Maharashtra

In an unexpected turn of events, a private helicopter destined to pick up Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Sushma Andhare for a public rally suddenly crashed during its landing in Maharashtra's Raigad district. The incident occurred on Friday morning when the helicopter attempted to land at a makeshift helipad in Mahad around 9:30 am.

According to a police official, the pilot sustained injuries as the helicopter tilted during the landing maneuver. Fortunately, no one else was harmed in the accident. The helicopter, scheduled for a crucial role in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, suffered damage to its rotor blades, as per preliminary investigations.
