Sir Sean Connery international recognised for his on-screen appearance as ‘James Bond’ passed away at 90. He was the first star to don the suit and step on the big screen as James Bond. The actor passed away overnight, in his sleep. He is believed to be unwell for some time While the entire world mourns his death, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram handle to pay respect to the star icon. " Apart fom Priyanka, Current James Bond actor Daniel Craig also mourned Connery's sudden demise. He said that Connery defined an era and a style. The actor helped create a "modern blockbuster" via his James Bond movies and added that the late actor will influence actors in the years to come. Sean Connery was the first to play ‘Bond’ on the big screen and went on to appear in seven films as ‘007’. He remained a fan favourite and was considered the best actor to do justice to James Bond’s character in the long-running franchise.
