PKL 2019 :Bengal Warriors beat Tamil Thalaivas 35-26

NEW DELHI: The Bengal Warriors have beaten Tamil Thalaivas in the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League. The Warriors beat Tamil Thalaivas 35-26. For the Warriors, K. Prajpan scored 10 red points while Maninder Singh scored nine red points. With this win, the Bengal team has moved to the second position in the points table. Ajay Thakur scored 10 points for Tamil Tamil Thalaivas but could not save the team from defeat. Ajay Thakur scored 11 points and completed 800 red points.

He had reached to play the match taken after receiving  Arjuna award from Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Bengal Warriors scored 10 points in the 21-point tackle in the Reds. He got four points from the all-out. Tamil Thalaivas scored only six points in the Reds 20 and Tekle in. The Bengal Warriors had a 15-14 lead at half-time. In the first half, Prapanjan gave his red-pitched edge to the Bengal Warriors team. In the 10th minute of the match, Tamil Thalaivaswas all out to add to the lead.

The Bengal Warriors started the second half by knocking out Manjeet Chiller, Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhary in the opening match. The Tamil got the first point in the second half in the fifth minute. The Bengals made their comeback difficult by giving the Tamils a second all-out lead in the 35th minute of the match. The Bengals won the match 35-26.
