New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has once again reiterated its demand for strict legislation to stop conversion and love jihad after the Nikita Tomar murder case. VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said that like the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, all state and central governments should take strict steps to prevent such incidents and strict laws should be enacted. Vinod Bansal has said that Yogi's new initiative 'Mission Shakti' for the protection of sisters and daughters and declaration of a stringent law to stop love jihad is welcome. He said that other states should also follow this so that no sister or daughter can be converted by force or deception and their lives can also be saved. It is worth noting that recently, VHP had also released some figures about Love Jihad and demanded that the Center should enact a tough law soon. Protests were also held at several places, including Rajiv Chowk metro station and Shakarpur school block, demanding the hanging of Nikita's killers. Apart from Durga Vahini and Bajrang Dal and VHP, people related to local R&W also took out foot march.
