PSU OMCs rose up the price of petrol and diesel

Indian Oil Corporation announced an increase in petrol and diesel prices share of three public sector oil marketing companies also hiked up to 6 percent. Petrol price was rose yesterday by rs 3.7 a litre, revercing its 3 months declining trend, while diesel rates went up by rs 1.90 per litre.

On BSE, BPCL   went up by 5.91 percent to Rs 864.60, HPCL   gained 2.40 percent to Rs 751.95 and IOC climbed 3.89 percent to Rs 403.60.

Similar movement was seen on NSE with BPCL gaining 5.71 percent. HPCL and IOC surged 3.56 percent and 3.32 percent, respectively.
