The woman later remembered that jewelery worth about three lakh rupees was kept in that purse. The woman then told this to her son. The son gave this information to a top officer of the Municipal Corporation. It was then ascertained at what time the pickup van went to the depot and dropped the garbage. Later, the number of the sweeper who was on duty at the depot at that time was posted. The woman told the cleaning worker about the purse on the number met by the top officer. After this, the cleaning worker Hemant Lakhan asked the woman to come to the depot, where there was a garbage dump.
