Another Lie Of AAP: CM Mann's 'false' claim of BMW setting up plant in Punjab!

Amritsar: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have once again been embarrassed in front of the entire country. This time the case pertains to BMW's plant in Punjab. In fact, the AAP government of Punjab had announced that BMW is going to set up an auto parts manufacturing plant in Punjab, but BMW exposed this claim of CM Bhagwant Mann the very next day.

According to media reports, a press release was issued by the Bhagwant Mann government on Tuesday (September 13, 2022), stating that German luxury car maker BMW has agreed to set up its auto part manufacturing unit in Punjab. Some pictures of Chief Minister Mann were also shared on social media, in which he is seen holding a meeting. In this case, CM Bhagwant Mann confirmed this by tweeting. He tweeted and announced that BMW is going to set up its second unit in Punjab within India. Earlier, the company's unit was only in Chennai, he said. He also said that this will encourage industrial development in the state and open new avenues of employment for the youth.

According to the report, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann made a visit to the headquarters of the auto company BMW on September 13. It was also being told that a decision was taken in this regard there. At the same time, it is now being reported that the big claims of the Punjab government have been rejected by the auto company and an official press release has been issued by the company regarding this. A press release was issued by auto company BMW on Wednesday (September 14, 2022), in which the company clearly stated that the company is not setting up any unit in Punjab.

Now after this statement of the company, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who won accolades a few hours ago, came to the target of the people and people on social media targeted him fiercely. Former MP Partap Singh Bajwa tweeted and targeted CM Bhagwant Mann. He wrote that BMW has rejected the setting up of any project in Punjab, as claimed by CM Bhagwant Mann. "Can the chief minister clarify his position on this or was he lying to the entire state?" he asked.

At the same time, BJP Punjab leader Parminder Singh Brar has also taken a dig at Bhagwant Mann on this issue. He tweeted "Earlier Arvind Kejriwal used to make fake claims, now 'dummy' CM Bhagwant Mann is following in the footsteps of his 'guru' (Kejriwal) to shame the country on the world map! BMW's denial of the claim of setting up a plant in Punjab has exposed Mann and the countrymen will not forgive him for this lie.''
