Punjab Police Constable 2024 Results and Answer Key Released: Objections Deadline Approaches

Punjab – The Punjab Police Department is set to announce the results for the Constable exam 2024 soon. Candidates can expect to find their results on the official website, punjabpolice.gov.in. The answer key for the exam has been released, and candidates have until August 23 to raise any objections.

Objection Procedure

If candidates believe there are errors in the answer key, they can challenge it by paying Rs 50 per question. The objection window closes on August 23. The Phase I exam took place from July 1 to July 26, 2024.

Selection Process

The selection process includes several stages: a computer-based test, a physical measurement test, a physical screening test, and document verification. Candidates in the SC, BC, EWS, and Ex-Service Man categories must score at least 35% to qualify, while candidates from other categories need a minimum of 40%.

Visit the Punjab Police Department's official website: punjabpolice.gov.in. On the homepage, navigate to the Recruitment or Career Sections. Look for the link titled “Punjab Police Constable Result 2024” and click on it. Enter your details, such as Registration Number and Date of Birth, and submit. Review the information displayed to view your result. Download the result by clicking the download option.

Expected Cut-Off Marks

While the official cut-off will be announced with the results, it is anticipated to follow trends from previous years. Here are the expected cut-offs for this year's selection:

General/Open/Unreserved: Men – 82.28%, Women – 72.64% Scheduled Caste: Men – 70.42%, Women – 61.08% Backward Classes: Men – 76.46%, Women – 65.14% Wards of Police Personnel: Men – 64.69% EWS, Punjab: Men – 57.23%, Women – 32.25%

Vacancies

The Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 will fill 1,746 posts. This includes 970 positions for the District Police Cadre and 776 for the Armed Police Cadre.
