New Delhi: Political turmoil has been on the rise in the country for some time now, amid a piece of the sad news that three Congress workers have died and nearly 50 others injured when two buses collided dangerously near the Main Highway in Moga-Amritsar on Friday morning. According to local media reports, the accident took place near Luhara village. One of the buses that met with the accident was on its way to the coronation ceremony of Navjot Singh Siddhu. This accident has taken place while overtaking the same. It is also said that a private bus was overtaking the roadways bus. It was then that the private bus went out of control and the two buses were pelted dangerously. Several persons were also seriously injured in the accident. They have been admitted to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in Faridkot and Civil Hospital, Moga. State CM Amarinder Singh tweeted his grief over the accident. "Saddened to hear about the bus accident in Moga district in which 3 Congress workers have died and several others injured. DC Moga has been directed to provide immediate full treatment to all the injured and send a report to the government.''
