Rabri Devi's Video Sparks Debate: Authentic Household Work or Pre-Election Strategy?

Patna: The video of former Bihar CM Rabri Devi, accompanied by Rajshree Yadav, wife of Bihar's opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, is rapidly gaining traction on social media. The video, shared on Instagram by an account named rajshree.tejashwi, depicts Rabri and Rajshree grinding grains together in a mill. While the date of the video remains undisclosed, it has sparked discussions online.

Captioned as "Household work with mother," the video has gone viral, with people praising the teamwork of the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo. However, amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, questions arise about the authenticity of the video. Is Rabri Devi, known for her affluent lifestyle, really grinding wheat and making flour with her own hands? Or is this video merely a strategic move to gain an advantage in the election environment?

Currently, the Lok Sabha elections are in progress, with two phases of voting already completed. With a total of seven phases, all political parties, including RJD, are actively campaigning in Bihar. Rabri Devi has been participating in rallies alongside Lalu Yadav. The video portrays Rabri Devi balancing household chores with political engagements. However, this isn't the first time she has been seen doing domestic work; previously, she was spotted in the house garden and tending to the cows. Rajshree Yadav, her daughter-in-law, is also seen assisting in household tasks.
