Anyone who says anything against PM is put in jail: Rahul Gandhi on FIR against celebrities

Wayanad: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government on Friday, a day after an FIR was lodged against nearly 50 celebrities who wrote an open letter to PM Narendra Modi about the incidents of being beaten to death by the mob. He said that those who speak anything against Narendra Modi or his government are put behind bars.

Gandhi Said, “Anybody who says anything against the prime minister, anybody who raises anything against the government is put in jail and is attacked. Media is crushed.” It is noteworthy that a case has been registered on Thursday against more than 50 celebrities who expressed concern by writing an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of mob lynching. About 50 people, including Ramchandra Guha, Mani Ratnam and Aparna Sen, wrote an open letter to PM Narendra Modi three months ago, raising the issue of mob violence.

In their letter, these celebrities had said that the slogan of Jai Shri Ram is now being used only to beat people. Now an FIR has been lodged against those celebrities. They has been accused of tarnishing the country's image and undermining the effective performance of PM Narendra Modi. With regard to this, now Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has attacked PM Modi.
