New Delhi: The Congress party is holding a Halla Bol rally today against the rising inflation in the country. Yes and now all senior Congress leaders and workers including former President Rahul Gandhi have gathered in Ramlila Maidan. Let us tell you that the purpose of this rally under the leadership of Rahul is to put pressure on the government to curb rising inflation. In fact, while speaking at the rally, Adhir Ranjan, Congress leader and leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party in Lok Sabha, said, "Today this is the condition of inflation that if you go shopping in the market, all your pocket money is exhausted, but the bag remains empty."

Along with this, he also took a jibe at Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently broke away from the party and said, 'It is very easy to come to Congress, it is even easier to go. But it is very difficult to survive in it. People walk two steps together and then change paths. Let us tell you that earlier the Congress workers going to the Congress headquarters for the demonstration were detained by the police from Akbar Road. While sitting in the police car, all the workers kept shouting slogans of Vande Mataram and Halla Bol. However, before the protest here, Rahul has attacked PM Modi by tweeting. He wrote- 'The king is busy earning friends, the people are suffering from inflation.'

On the other hand, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that 'Congress is continuously agitating against inflation and in the sequel of that a huge rally is being organized here on Sunday, in which national leaders of the party as well as Delhi and surrounding areas. People from the states will participate in large numbers. To give relief to the general public, he demanded immediate steps to check inflation.'
