NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi, who resigned as Congress President, has targeted the Modi government at the Centre over a weak economy. He targeted through the tweets. In a series of tweets, he posted media reports pointing to the country's weak economy and said the BJP government cannot create anything but can do all the luck. With decades of hard work, they can only eliminate whatever they have created. In a tweet, the Chairman of Indian Railways, Automobile Sector and L&T posted a warning to the government on the weakening economy. He also posted newspaper reports in a tweet highlighting the damage caused in several departments. Rahul's tweet comes at a time when India has slipped two notches from the fifth largest economy in the world to seventh. Britain and France have gone beyond that. Due to low consumer demand, several critical sectors has witnessed a sharp decline. Top corporate executives had alerted the government over the slowdown and also urged them to take steps to reduce the issue. The Indian stock market has also been affected by the fall in the economy. Last week, some media reports claimed that there was a major retrenchment in the Railways, while three lakh employees would be asked for a private retirement.
