Rahul Gandhi speaks to victims: 'You are not alone in the tragedy, we are together and there is hope'

New Delhi: Due to the increasing corona across the country, people in hospitals are not getting beds for treatment, and oxygen shortages are also taking place. Many people have lost their lives. Meanwhile, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has expressed his condolences to such people.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, said, "My condolences to the countrymen who are losing their loved ones due to lack of treatment. You are not alone in this tragedy. Prayers and sympathy from every state of the country are with you. If you are with you, you are looking forward.'' In fact, in the second wave of the corona epidemic, health systems have collapsed, which is preventing people from getting treatment, and people are not able to get beds in hospitals far away.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, more than 3.86 lakh new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours and with these new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has now crossed 1.87 crores. According to the Health Ministry, a total of 3,86,452 new corona cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours. Now the number of active corona cases in the country has gone up to over 31.70 lakhs.
