Kochi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday appealed to PM Narendra Modi to help flood-hit Kerala. Rahul arrived in his Lok Sabha constituency Of Wayanad on Monday (12 August), which is badly affected by the floods. Soon after attending a review meeting at the Malappuram Collectorate, Rahul Gandhi said, "This is a tragedy and everyone should help Kerala. I have asked PM Narendra Modi for help, he has agreed to do so." On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, had also demanded the Kerala CM P Vijayan on August 8 to help the flood affected people in his constituency and other parts of the state. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had also postponed his visit to Wayanad to ensure that rescue operations in Kerala are not affected. Now they have reached Wayanad today.
