Rahul Gandhi slammed Pakistan for its misadventures

New Delhi: Indian Air Force air strike in Pakistan is lauded by the entire nation. Pakistan country Pakistan is receiving flak for supporting the terrorists. Now, Congress president Rahul Gandhi slammed Pakistan for its misadventures and expressed their deep concern for the safety of the missing pilot.

 Gandhi further urged the Centre to take the nation into confidence on all measures to protect India's sovereignty, unity and integrity.

During the meeting, all the 21 parties expressed concerns over the blatant politicization of the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces by leaders of the ruling party and observed that national security must transcend narrow political considerations. The opposition also questioned PM Narendra Modi for not convening an-all party meetings.

Earlier, Raveesh Kumar,External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said that after India conducted counter-terrorism operation against a terrorist training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Pakistan’ Balakot, Islamabad responded by using its air force to target military installations on the Indian side. Kumar said "Due to our high state of readiness and alertness, Pakistan's attempts were foiled successfully. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was detected and the Indian Air Force (IAF) responded instantly. In the aerial engagement, one PAF fighter aircraft was shot down by a MIG 21 Bison of the IAF.
