Rahul Gandhi takes on PM Modi over CBI issue: Why Govt. removed CBI chief Alok Verma

Jaipur:  Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed a public gathering in Jhalawar, Rajasthan ahead of the assembly elections which are going to be held this year. Addressing in a rally He cornered PM Modi led Center government  on current issue of CBI fighting.

Firing the question at PM Modi led center Governmet, the grand old party Congress asked  “Why has the govt. removed CBI Director Alok Verma of his charge & sealed his offices? Who are they protecting & what are they hiding?”.

In his direct attack, Congress president Rahul Gandhi connecting the matter to most controversial Raffel deal tweeted that CBI Chief Alok Verma was collecting papers of Raffel scam. He was forced to leave.

He added that the Prime Minister's message is very clear that whatever comes around Raffel deal- will be removed, wiped out. He with all worries further alleged that the country and the constitution are in danger.

Worth mention here M Nageshwar Rao took charge as interim Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director today following a high voltage drama and in his second order CBI DIG Tarun Gauba, SP Satish Dagar and Joint Director V Murugesan will probe charges against CBI Special Director Rakesh Asthana. In his first order as interim chief; M Nageshwar Rao removed the whole team in which more than 10 officers included. Probing the bribery allegations against Rakesh Asthana, investigation officer Ajay Bassi and deputy inspector general Manish Sinha transferred.
