Rahul Gandhi's pocket cut off at golden temple, Harsimrat said- Who cut...

Chandigarh: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently visited Punjab on January 27, during which his pocket was cut at Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. Akali Dal leader and former Union Minister Harsimrat Badal made the allegation in a tweet. Harsimrat tweeted that who cut Rahul Gandhi's pocket at Sri Harmandir Sahib? Charanjit Channi, Navjot Sidhu or Sukhjinder Randhawa? All three of them were allowed to get close to Rahul Gandhi by Z Security. After the incident of desecration, it is not a conspiracy to defame our most holy place, Harmandir Sahib, again.

In response, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala hit back at Harsimrat. Surjewala tweeted that Harsimrat Ji, when nothing like this happened, spreading such false news is a disservice to the holy Guru's house. There will be an electoral deadlock, but you should state responsibility and maturity. Yes, sitting in the Cabinet of the Modi government and stamping the black laws is definitely like cutting the pockets of hardworking farmers.

Rahul Gandhi was on a one-day visit to Punjab on Thursday. He also went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Gandhi also went to Jalandhar later that evening where he addressed a digital rally. Rahul was accompanied by veteran Punjab Congress leaders as well as state Chief Minister Channi and Congress chief Navjot Sidhu. However, apart from this question, Harsimrat did not reveal anything more about it.
