Rahul Gandhi's Prayagraj visit canceled, Congress says BJP govt did not allow plane landing

Lucknow: Former Congress National President and current Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi's visit to Prayagraj from Wayanad in Kerala has been canceled. At the same time, Congress has fiercely attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the cancellation of this tour. The Congress alleges that Rahul Gandhi's chartered plane had taken off from Wayanad, but was not allowed to land at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (Babatpur Airport) in Varanasi.

Regarding this incident, Congress says that the BJP is scared of Rahul Gandhi. According to media reports, Rahul Gandhi was about to reach Prayagraj on Monday (February 13) night to attend a private function. After this, he was to attend the meeting of Kamla Nehru Trust on Tuesday (February 14) morning, but his visit was canceled. Regarding this, Congress has alleged that Rahul Gandhi's plane was not allowed to land at Babatpur airport, so his program had to be canceled.

At Babatpur airport, Congress state unit president and former minister Ajay Rai alleged that the BJP government is nervous because of the growing popularity of Rahul Gandhi. For this reason, Rahul Gandhi's plane was not allowed to land in Varanasi. He further said that the amount of condemnation of the government for such work is less. This type of attitude of the government is very shameful.
