Southern Railway has invited applications for recruitment of candidates suitable for full time contract medical practitioner post. The candidates will be placed on duty in Covid19 ward at Railway Hospital, Perambur Chennai. The recruitment of candidates will be contract based and will be for the stipulated time. Description of Posts: A total of 33 GDMO posts will be filled up with 17 posts for unreserved, 09 OBC, 05 SC and 02 for ST category.
Educational Qualifications: As per the notification, candidates with MBBS degrees who have experience of working with ICU and ventilators or one year of experience with degrees are eligible for recruitment to these posts.
Scale of pay: The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 75,000.
Age-limit: The maximum age limit has been fixed at 53 years which also provides for relaxation as per category. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.
