Mumbai: In Maharashtra, the rain started in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar and Raigad from last Sunday night which continues till now. During the last 3-4 hours, there have been moderate rains but now it is gradually intensifying. The Meteorological Department says that the Konkan region has also been cloudy. The Mumbai Meteorological Department recently said that light to moderate rain is expected to continue for the next 3-4 hours. On Sunday, rains continued in the Konkan region, including Mumbai and some areas of central Maharashtra. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has said that most areas of the state may remain cloudy for the next two days. Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara and Raigad districts have been receiving light rains since Monday morning. However, for the last 4 to 5 days, the suburbs and adjoining areas of Mumbai have been looking cloudy. Not only this but there are also some areas where it is raining lightly. The Meteorological Department has said that on December 14, the maximum temperature can go to 24 or below in some parts of North Maharashtra and North Marathwada.
