Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the seventh iteration of India's flagship multilateral foreign policy and geoeconomics forum, the Raisina Dialogue, today in New Delhi. The dialogue, which will take place over three days from April 25 to April 27, will feature European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen as the principal guest, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The Raisina Dialogue 2022 will be based on the theme "Terranova- Impassioned, Impatient, Imperilled," and will be organised around six thematic pillars: Rethinking Democracy: trade, technology, and ideology; End of Multilateralism: a networked global order; Water Caucuses: turbulent tides in the Indo-Pacific; Communities Inc: first responders to health, development, and the planet; Achieving Green Transitions: common imperative, diver The Raisina Dialogue, which began in 2016, is India's biggest geopolitical and geoeconomic forum dedicated to resolving the world's most pressing concerns. MEA is hosting the conference in cooperation with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dialogue was held virtually last year. This year, it will be held in person. "Around 100 sessions will be held at Raisina Dialogue 2022, with approximately 210 speakers from 90 nations. A number of side events will be held in Berlin and Washington.
