Rajasthan Budget 2025: Deputy CM Diya Kumari Calls It HISTORIC with Many Benefits for People

JAIPUR (RAJASTHAN): Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Diya Kumari, has called the upcoming State Budget 2025 HISTORIC and full of benefits for the people. She assured that all announcements made in the budget will be fully implemented.

A really good and historic budget is coming. It will bring many benefits for the people. These wouold not  just be announcements. We will make sure they are carried out. This will be a budget for everyone, said Diya Kumari.

She will present the second budget of the Bhajanlal Sharma-led government in the Rajasthan Assembly today.

Focus on Growth and Development

Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa congratulated Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s last budget, calling it inclusive and beneficial for all sections of society. He added that today’s budget will also focus on the overall development of Rajasthan.

When the first budget of Chief Minster Bhajan Lal Sharma was presented, it covered all sectors and aimed to uplift Rajasthan. Within just six months, about 90 percent of it has already been implemented. Today's budget will continue this work and support a developed Rajasthan, in line with PM Modi’s vision," said Bairwa.

CM Reviews Progress on Past Budget Announcements

On February 16, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a meeting at his residence to review development projects in Jaipur. He directed all District Collectors in the Jaipur division to submit a report within three days on pending projects from the previous Budget (2024-25).

The Chief Minister emphasized that District Collectors are responsible for ensuring the implementation of budget promises. He instructed them to conduct on-site inspections and resolve any issues. All necessary approvals for pending projects should be issued by the end of February after a technical review.

During the meeting, District Collectors also proposed priorities for the upcoming Budget 2025-26, focusing on drinking water, electricity, roads, health, education, tourism, and transport. The CM instructed them to assess these projects on-site and prioritize them based on needs and set criteria.
