Jaipur: The sanctions have been extended for 3 days in view of the increasing risk of corona infection in Rajasthan. State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has decided to ban several activities across the state from April 19 to May 3, at 5 am to deal with the corona infection. Under this public fortnight, government offices, markets, malls, and all workplaces will remain closed during this period. But activities related to the employment of laborers like factory and construction work will not be restricted. Along with this, people who live by applying cart and hawker will be given the freedom to earn a living. This decision was taken in the high-level meeting held till late at night under the leadership of CM Gehlot. He said that normal activities continue in public places, markets, workplaces, etc. leading to congestion due to which corona infection is increasing. To control this, all workplaces, commercial establishments, and markets across the state should be closed in the public discipline fortnight starting Monday (April 19). CM Gehlot said that wearing masks is a necessary preventive measure to stop the spread of covid-19. To implement this strictly, action should be taken against those who do not apply masks in public places and workplaces.
