Jaipur: 76 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Rajasthan on Tuesday. Due to this, the total number of infected people in the state so far has been 7376. Officials said that till 9 am on Tuesday, 16 new cases have been registered in Jaipur, 13 in Udaipur, 12 in Jhalawar, 11 in Rajsamand, 5-5 in Jhunjhunu and Bikaner, 4 in Kota, 3 in Pali and Dhaulpur.

The total number of people who died of Coronavirus infection in the state has reached 167. Only in Jaipur, the death toll from Coronavirus infection has reached 79, while 17 patients have died in Jodhpur and 16 in Kota. However, officials say that in most of the cases, the patients were already suffering from some other serious diseases.

In Rajasthan, along with two Italian citizens, there are 61 people who were brought from Iran to the Army's health centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in the total cases of coronavirus infection. The entire state has been under lockdown since March 22 and curfew has been imposed in many police station areas. The total cases of corona infection in the country have crossed one lakh 45 thousand. The number of cases has quadrupled since May 1, the day special trains were started to take migrant laborers to their homes.
