Jaipur: Two bike thieves have been arrested from Tonk city of Rajasthan. Both of them were addicted to smack. They used to steal bikes and scooters for only Rs. 200-300. Then they would take out petrol from it and sell it. They would then throw bikes or scooters into the city's dirty pond. Both thieves have admitted that they committed at least 15 such thefts before. Police have launched a drive to evacuate those two wheelers from the pond with the help of divers. Out of 15 stolen vehicles, 9 bikes and one scooter have been taken out from the pond so far. Parts of the stolen two wheelers have also been found packed in a sack. The search for the rest of the two wheelers is going on. Superintendent of Police Om Prakash took it seriously after several such incidents were reported in the city. Also, the District Special Team (DST) was entrusted with the command to nab the thieves. DST arrested Faisal and Joseph, who live in the city, and uncovered the thefts.
