Rajkot police request Google to ban PUBG

Popular online game PUBG is in news due to the voice raising for the ban of the game. Now, yhe Rajkot police has written to Google requesting the company to ban downloads of PlayerUnknown's Battleground in Rajkot.

Manoj Agrawal, Rajkot police commissioner told Firstpost stating that the authorities have said they have banned this, so if possible, if in any IP of this area users are downloading the game then they have said, stop it if you can.

Recently, Iraq Parliament had announced that online games like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite have been banned in the country because of their violent nature, or as they stated, inciting violence. The Iraq Parliament voted unanimously to ban the online battle royale game in the country.The PUBG Mobile and its rival Fortnite were named specifically among other games. The lawmakers stated that the games "threaten social security, morals, civics and education" in Iraq society.

The lawmakers of Iraq have also asked communications ministry and media commission to block access to the games. However, a full ban will need approval by the cabinet. The vote came a week after powerful Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr appealed to young people to stop playing PUBG or watching football matches.

Not only Iraq, Nepal on Thursday banned PUBG stating that the violent content was putting a negative impact on their children.
