New Delhi: The national capital witnessed an important event today as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the highly anticipated National Cadet Corps (NCC) integrated software. This state-of-art solution marks a significant step towards bolstering India's defence capabilities.

Earlier on Thursday, Minister Singh chaired a productive 'Chintan Shivir' hosted by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in Delhi. During the session, he provided directives to the relevant departments, urging them to formulate a time-bound action plan and present an Action Taken Report within 15 days.

In a tweet on Thursday, the Defence Minister shared, "Engaged in extensive discussions throughout the day at the 'MoD Chintan Shivir.' We deliberated upon crucial matters pertaining to the strengthening of India's defence capabilities and the welfare of our esteemed Ex-Servicemen." He further stated, "I have instructed all concerned departments to devise a time-bound action plan and present an Action Taken Report within 15 days." Last month, the Department of Defence (DoD), Department of Defence Production (DDP), Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), and Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted separate brainstorming sessions. These gatherings facilitated detailed discussions on critical issues and explored avenues to enhance productivity.

Minister of State (Defence) Ajay Bhatt, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Pande, Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane, along with several other esteemed civil and military officials of MoD, were present throughout the day-long meeting.
