Rampal acquitted in two cases but will continue to remain inside the jail

Rampal today have been acquitted by the  Haryana court from charges of rioting and obstructing a government officer.

However, he will still remain inside the jail in at least three cases against him which are pending.

Rampal's lawyer A.P. Singh told the media that "He (Rampal) has been acquitted in the two cases (426 and 427). The court has acquitted Rampal and others in some cases. This is the victory of truth and justice,"

His lawyer had earlier said that two cases were registered against the latter i.e one on November 17, 2014 and another on November 18, 2014.

The 67-year-old  failed to appear in court 43 times after which police ordered to arrest him.
