Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor starrer film Rangoon is near its release but before that the film has been re-edited and reduced by nearly 40 minutes of it's original length.
The helmer of film Vishal Bhardwaj and producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Viacom 18 has taken the decision voluntarily.
Reveals the source, "Everyone in the team feels that Rangoon has turned out to be very special. But at nearly three hours of playing time, the film was seen to be too long for today’s generation. Vishal and his producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Viacom 18 have voluntarily decided to bring the length down by more than half an hour."
CBFC has given the film a U/A certificate with the replacement of three words that have been changed to 'Bakchor', 'Rascal' and 'Jhoothi'.
