How to make Rasam Spiked Almonds Step 1 To prepare this easy recipe, put a pan on low flame and add olive oil in it. When it is hot enough, roast the almonds with sea salt and set aside. Step 2 In the same pan, dry roast the red chilli, channa dal and toor dal on a medium flame until the lentils are golden in colour. Transfer to a plate to cool. Step 3 Roast the coriander seeds and black peppercorns until fragrant. Add the cumin seeds at the end, and roast it till it starts popping. Let all the ingredients cool completely. Step 4 Powder them to a fine powder in a mixer and it to the almonds and then store in an airtight container. Serve as you like.
