Redmi smartphone could be the cheapest phone in the market with Snapdragon 888 which will be powered by the latest Qualcomm mobile chipset. Recently, Xiaomi launched its flagship Mi 11 smartphone in China and now its sub-brand Redmi has been tipped to be working on its own Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered phone. According to Weibo, it is hinted that Redmi is working on a Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered smartphone that may be the cheapest phone with the new Qualcomm SoC. Meanwhile, many companies have announced that they will be launching its flagship smartphones with the Snapdragon 888 SoC, where Redmi could launch one which will be the cheapest. No official information about the pricing of this smartphone surfaced but the tipster states it will have codename Haydn model K11. Earlier this month, it was hinted that Redmi K40 will have a Pro and a vanilla variant which will be featured with a Snapdragon 8-series SoC and the standard vanilla variant will feature a Snapdragon 7-series SoC. Redmi K40 could be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 775 SoC while Redmi K40 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Also Read:
