Mandaviya: 'War is not over yet, no negligence at any stage'

New Delhi: There has been a piece of big news about the Covid-19 epidemic that the country now sees the disappearance of another form of corona infection. However, the reinfecting delta or other mutations associated with it have become a matter of concern. According to a report released by the Indian SARS-COV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) on Thursday, 1,15,101 samples of genome sequences have been successfully tested in the country.

As per the information received so far, 45,394 (69%) of these have been found to be critical category mutations. Out of these, 41,000 samples have seen aggressive mutations like Delta and Delta Plus. Not only this, the delta in 28,820, delta plus in 5,450 and AY category mutation in 6,611 have been found. INSACOG has said that other mutations of the virus are now weakening in the country. Mutations like gamma are completely gone. No other major mutation in Covid-19 reported so far.

War not over yet, no negligence at any stage: Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the battle with Covid is in the final stages. In a meeting of state health minister said that there should be no negligence at any level.
