Reliance Industries will invest $ 5 million to about Rs 375 crore in Breakthrough Energy Ventures, a clean energy venture of world-renowned businessman Bill Gates. With this move, Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Michael Bloomberg, Jack Ma, Masayoshi Son, has come in the line of investors. All these investors have invested in Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV), a clean energy venture of Bill Gates. Thus Reliance will contribute about 5.75% to the fund. This investment will be done in several pieces in the next 8 to 10 years. On Thursday, Reliance Industries told the stock exchanges, 'The company has signed a contract for a capital contribution of $ 50 million to Breakthrough Energy Venture Second, LP (BEV). It is a limited partnership firm formed under the law of the Delaware State of America. ' Bill Gates' Green Energy Venture seeks solutions to the climate threat by investing in the development of BEV important energy and agricultural technologies. By raising funds from investors, BEV invests it in clean energy solutions. The goal of this fund is to invest in net zero-emission means non-emission companies. Reliance said that all these efforts are going to have a deep impact on India as well and it will benefit the entire humanity. Not only this, it will also give good returns. This investment will have to get permission from the Reserve Bank of India right now.
